I've been a customer of Susman Insurance Agency for over 3 years now. I started off with 1 car insured under Mercury, then they helped me out when I needed renter's insurance (Traveler's Ins Co) before I could move into my new apt , and just this week I added another car to my auto policy. I didn't even have to leave my office at work to do any of this as we took care of all of it over email. Karl and his team always respond quickly to requests and they are very knowledgeable about their area of expertise. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an insurance provider.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced the establishment of a new Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) that will offer coverage to uninsured Americans who have been unable to obtain coverage due to a pre-existing condition. The PCIP is a transitional program designed to cover individuals with pre-existing conditions until 2014 when insurers will be prohibited from discriminating against them.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says that the plan will offer people with pre-existing conditions who have been uninsured for at least six months the same kind of coverage that a healthy person would get.
The Affordable Care Act provides $5 billion in federal funding to support PCIPs in every state. For more information on how the plan is being administered click here to view the whole article.
